During the tropical cyclone season, you can receive immediate notification of tropical systems that may affect your
operations. From tropical waves to approaching hurricanes & typhoons, you and your vessels will be kept well informed with regular and timely updates on position, strength, and forecast track data.
Tropical Surveillance is provided to the vessel (and, if requested, the owner and charter
parties). The vessel is immediately alerted when a tropical system(s) poses a threat to the vessel and/or route. Safety of cargo and crew is always our number one concern, followed by optimal routing.
Tropical surveillance and non-tropical heavy weather surveillance are offered to vessels, owners, and charter parties that need to be aware of any tropical activity or heavy weather that may affect their route or particular port. When no tropical activity or heavy weather threatens, there are no additional charges since there is no need for a forecast and/or advisory. When updates are provided, there is a low daily flat fee. We will not hesitate to provide multiple updates per day as needed at this low daily rate.

“A job well done. We would prefer that we not
encounter storms like this, but when
we do, it's nice to know you're there.” (regarding assistance
