Synopsis: High pressure ridging extends sw'ward from HIGH center through the Central and S'rn Windward Islands, and is forecast to remain nearly stationary through today, while strengthening.
Current Conditions: At 04:00am, a weather observation at Point Salines showed e'ly winds of 14knots. Farther north at 04:00am, another observation located on the s'rn side of St. Lucia is reporting ene'ly winds of 15knots. Seas around the area for today will be mainly e'ly at about 5-7 meters.
Severe Weather Potential/Advisories: The threat of severe weather is LOW through today, but isolated trade-type showers are to be expected during the late morning and early afternoon hours.
Conclusions: Expect E-NE'ly winds to freshen today as the ridging strengthens.
