When it comes to competitive angling, one must consider a multitude of environmental factors including wind/sea state, water temperature, surface currents, climatology, and tropics.
Weather Routing, Inc. (WRI) is pleased to announce several new fishing related tools that we have recently made available. We now offer customized charts for chlorophyll concentration, sea surface salinity, altimetry, mixed layer depth, and bathymetry, all of which are updated on a daily basis.
Each of these products has specific uses that can be beneficial for fishing interests, which are described here. You may also click the image on the right for a full description and example images of WRI's new fishing tools.
We offer several forecasting packages to our clients; a wide range of services to meet all of your needs, including detailed forecast information leading up to the start of the event, forecast updates during the event (as tournament rules permit), weather forecast charts, real-time and forecast sea surface temperature/current charts, and more. WRI also provides climatology studies and long range outlooks for planning purposes. Our experienced and knowledgeable staff of forecasters are available to aid in interpretation and consult in the decision making process.

Four detailed forecasts prepared 1-3 days prior to the tournament, including detailed synopsis, wind/sea forecast, sky conditions/weather advisories, air temperature, and ocean currents.
