Synopsis: A strong Etesian trough now in place from Cyprus to Rhodes then nnw'ward through the e'rn Aegean will tend to weaken/broaden somewhat through tomorrow, with further slow weakening then expected to continue into/through the 01st. The position of the trough is expected to change little through this time.
Current Conditions: While surface/airport based observations in Mikonos and Syros indicate N'lys between 13-17kts, most recent ship observations and satellite derived data suggest winds over the water to be Northerly at 25-30kts.
Severe Weather Potential/Advisories: The is little chance for severe weather today or tomorrow, though N'ly winds will remain enhanced.
Conclusions: Peristent enhanced Etesian N'lys will continue to affect the region with little change for today through tomorrow. Expect the strongest winds to be found in areas of funneling between islands and seas will tend highest in areas more open/exposed to the north, with much lower seas than below forecast in the immediate lee of the islands.
