PREPARED: January 26 09:46z

Synopsis: A weak COLD FRONT extends nne'ward from just offshore of s'rn Florida along the Gulf Stream towards Cape Hatteras. This front will quickly move ne'ward and away from Florida this morning as HIGH PRESSURE builds s'ward from a strong HIGH over the central U.S., persisting through tomorrow.

Current Conditions: At 4:00AM, a buoy near Ft. Lauderdale, Fl, was reporting NW'ly winds of 3-5kts. At 4:00AM a buoy near West Palm Beach, Fl, was reporting NW'ly winds of 5-7kts. Latest satellite imagery shows mostly clear conditions across s'rn Florida and the nw'rn Bahamas, with radar in Miami, Fl, showing dry conditions.

Severe Weather Potential/Advisories: There are no severe weather advisories/warnings posted for your area this morning.

Conclusions:  As the HIGH PRESSURE builds s'ward, conditions will remain light across the area throughout the day today. NW'ly winds this morning along shore will shift into a more general N-NE'ly direction though this morning to match winds out in more open waters.
